Metalico Knitting Collection
Blue Sky Fibers, formerly Blue Sky Alpacas, is a consciously crafted fiber and pattern company in Minnesota that creates unique Alpaca yarn and modern knitting patterns. I had the privilege of doing contract design with them and the Metalico Knitting Collection is one of my favorite projects. This collection is a 1920s-themed knitting pattern featuring three wraps, two of which are shown below. The project showcased an accordion foldout design that included a knitting pattern on one side and a vintage lifestyle story on the other. Postcards within the lifestyle story are handwritten with a fountain pen, each with unique stories. I provided all Design and Art Direction of the designed piece. Illustration provided by Nate Hager.
