LX Something Birthday Party
My client was turning 60 years old (LX in Roman Numerals) and wanted an “LX Something” themed birthday party (which is a play on his favorite TV series, “30 Something”). He had rented a huge room at the very trendy Gladstone Hotel in Toronto’s Arts District, Queen Street West. In addition to an invitation, he asked that I create name badges where guests could indicate their name and age. His instructions were simple, “Make something Queen Street West cool.” Given his interest in Roman Numerals, I included Roman Numeral table markers and a Roman Numeral cheat sheet to help guests indicate their age in Roman Numerals. I provided all Design, Art Direction and Printing.
