This piece was commissioned as an 80th birthday invitation for the owner of The Grand America Hotels & Resorts. The invitation exterior is a watercolor reproduction of The Grand America Hotel entrance. Open the invitation doors to reveal an exact watercolor rendering of the luxurious Lobby Lounge of The Grand America Hotel. Enclosed is a velum invitation and correspondence cards. This invitation is printed on heavy watercolor-like paper with custom envelopes to match the look and feel of the piece. It was designed in close collaboration with the family of the guest of honor. I provided Design and Art Direction.
